Here is what your favorite actors from THE CONSPIRATOR are working on next:
Robin Wright (“Mary Surratt”) is set to make her Broadway debut in a revival of Langford Wilson’s comedy “Talley’s Folly” during the 2010-2011 season. Wright will play a rebellious Missouri woman courted by a Jewish accountant, played by Richard Schiff (“The West Wing”). No specific show dates or theater details have been announced.
Kevin Kline (“Secretary Stanton”) has signed on to star and executive produce in an hour-long series for HBO. Kline will play a surgeon who must start a new life after serving a 15-year jail sentence for murdering his mistress. The project will be written by David Auburn (“Proof”). This is the first television series for Kline (an Academy Award winner for A FISH CALLED WANDA).
Danny Huston (JAG Holt) will join sister Angelica in presenting “Hollywood Dynasty: The Hustons” at the TCM Classic Film Festival on April 24. The tribute will include screenings of several films (including their father John Huston’s film THE TREASURE OF THE SIERRA MADRE) and feature a question-and-answer session with the two actors.
James Badge Dale (Hamilton) has received widespread critical acclaim for his leading role in HBO’s 10-part series “The Pacific.” Airing on Sunday nights, Dale plays Private Robert Leckie, a young Irish-American Marine who enlists shortly after the bombing of Pearl Harbor. The Hollywood Reporter writes “Praiseworthy performances are so abundant that it might be unfair to single out any one actor. That said, it would be hard not to take special note of Dale's work as Leckie, perhaps the most pivotal role because of the insight the character brings to so many situations. Not once does Dale falter.”
